Project
In a two-stage project, from 2017 to 2023, the Le Mans Hospital Center is undergoing a facelift with two new buildings and work to modernize its existing infrastructure. The first new building, the Madeleine Brès building, will cover an area of 11,000 m2 on four levels and will house palliative care. The second, the Plantagenêt building, will house most of the consultations on a surface area of 12,000m2. A medical analysis laboratory has also been completed in 2019 and the hospital’s pharmacy completely renovated. The operating rooms will also be renovated in the second phase of the project.
The entire project was entrusted to the Parisian architectural firm Michel Rémon (Egis Bâtiments design office and TN Plus landscape architect) and supported by the Pays-de-la-Loire regional health agency (ARS). This project aims above all to improve the comfort of patients and employees of the Hospital Center.
Solution: eProject FIM
Within the framework of its building construction and rehabilitation operations, the Le Mans Hospital Center has decided to set up an electronic service for monitoring and managing works and intellectual service contracts, which will operate throughout the duration of the operations until the approval of the final general statements. The payment requests of the works companies are distributed and exchanged using the service. The use of the service is compulsory for all the parties concerned, i.e. the Owner, the Project Management, the Intellectual Service Providers and the Companies holding a works contract with the Owner.
